Quia ddit que les Marrakchis ne se levaient pas tôt… Certainement pas les organisateurs de la première édition du Marrakech Run !
Dès 8h00 ce matin, les premiers Runners se sont donnés rendez-vous au parc Nzaha Moulay El Hassan et au Cyber Park de Marrakech pour participer aux différentes activités programmées : initiation au jogging, marche, 5km…
Programmé samedi et dimanche matin, Marrakech Run a pour but de rassembler la communauté des Runners sur les lieux emblématiques de la Cité Ocre et célébrer le sport et ses valeurs.
C’était juste magnifique ce matin. It was my first running event in Marrakech. Have done many in the US. I loved that there were many female participants. The weather was great. I appreciated Mr. Younès the organizer being there in person hands on insuring everything is going according to plan. The chosen location is amazing Nzahat Moulay al Hassan with the olive trees and soft ground we felt hugged by nature and fresh air without being away from the city center. Everyone was super friendly. Mr. Nassiri and Coach Khadija were so kind approachable professional and did a tremendous job at the race and afterwards. I enjoyed meeting them in person. Et pour finir et en Français pour que la personne en question reçoive le message, la cerise sur le gâteau était de rencontrer le super talentueux Karim Dronet toujoirs devoué au journalisme sportif, il était là à présenter, couvrir l événement du début à la fin avec professionnalisme et toujours souriant et bienveillant.
Thanks to everyone who participated and everyone who planned and out together this wonderful inclusive event. I made new friends and had a lot of fun and looking forward to the second day tomorrow!
